Jets drubbing signals turning point
It took a pair of brothers from Petrolia to turn around the hockey fortunes of the London Knights.
A couple of buddies from London are trying to do the same with the Petrolia Jets. For Jets co-owners Roop Chanderdat and Scott Dart, evaluation time is over for the last-place team in the Western Ontario Hockey League, which fell 7-2 to the London Nationals before 500 Jan. 9 at the Western Fair Sports Centre. The Jets have already made noise before Jan. 10's trade deadline, sending 20-year-old defenceman Tony Beck and forward Justin Smith to the league-leading Tecumseh Chiefs.
